Funding

The “GET it digital” project is being funded over two years by the Ministry of Culture and Science of North Rhine-Westphalia under the OERContent.nrw funding program.

In 2020, the public member universities of the Digital University NRW (DH.NRW) founded the office of the state portal for studying and teaching ORCA.nrw (Open Resources Campus NRW). The portal has been online since fall 2021.

The overarching goal of ORCA.nrw is to promote the use of digital materials and didactic concepts for digitally supported teaching and learning in all phases of study. The offerings that have existed locally at universities to date are to be made available on this joint cross-university platform for use or integration into the learning management systems of the universities or directly via the platform. A collaborative approach is explicitly pursued here: the joint development and use of material, as well as the exchange of teaching/learning scenarios and digital tools, are intended to increase the acceptance and quality of digitally supported teaching.
